    Athena has been Odysseus’ patron goddess for most of his life, always intervening when he is in danger, always ensuring the cunning young man comes out on top.     This is exactly what she needed. He was all she needed. Her eyes opened again to look up at Bucky, her chin lifting, seeking the comfort of his kiss.

    He leaned over Pal to kiss Maggie when a low whine sounded between them and Bucky sighed. Maggie’s needs outweighed Pal’s right now so Bucky moved the dog so he was curled up against Maggie’s back instead. Bucky pulled the comforter up over their shoulders and filled the space between, wrapping his arm around Maggie. Their feet became tangled together.

    Despite Maggie being upset, he realized she had come to him for comfort. A certain possessiveness spread through him, content with her in this warm cocoon of blankets and warm bodies. And when she was ready to talk, he would mentally take notes on how to defend her from this ever happening again.

  • If by “love” you mean “feeling a bone deep pressure to write this now, because The ManTM actually acknowledged its/my existence, paired with an even deeper sense of dread, because should I ever write this the ManTM can never ever know about it, because he is a genius with the voice of an angel and I am about to make it ✨FiLtHy✨” - sure, I love this story… ANYWAYS 😅

    🚲 : Does your character enjoy playing the field? Or are they more monogamy-minded?

    Thea/Athena was never interested in anyone - mortal or immortal - like that in all of her existence. And even as the whole thing unfolds, it takes her a loooong time to realise/acknowledge that this might be… that.
    As for Odysseus, for someone who is all about returning to his wife asap he is a bit of a slut 😆

    💋 : Is your character a good kisser? How do they do it?

    I wanna say “practice makes perfect” in regards to my beloved manwhore (also who writes a 🌶sPiCy🌶 story and makes the leads terrible kissers?). He’s can be gentle and sweet, but also hot and heavy where the situation calls for it, always leaving Thea wanting more of it… Thea is inexperienced, but it’s most definitely in her very nature to… learn quickly 😏

    💞 : Do they treat sex casually or do they view it as something with a lot of emotional weight?

    For Thea/Athena it definitely carries a whole lot of emotional weight, seeing as she has never had the urge to do this before (definitely no case of like father like daughter, this one), so this is both exciting and very terrifying for her.
    For Odysseus it (canonically) seems that the emotional weight of it all is kind of a matter of circumstance? He definitely loves his wife (and he will definitely fall madly in love with Thea), but he definitely doesn’t extend this emotional weight eg for his tryst/episode/thing with Circe.

    🔥 : What’s a surefire way to make your OC get flustered?

    Tbh, a lot gets Thea flustered. Being human / pretending to be mortal is so different from being purposefully detached in the way she always chose to be and this meat suit makes everything so so messy. People being raunchy, gentle, flirty, caring… the whole range of human interaction has the potential to leave her flustered and almost at a loss for words. And once they get started the right look from Odysseus is enough to make her damn knees buckle 😏
